The hotel, built in a colonial style, is located at the entrance into village of Santa Maria, 50m away from the famous sandy beach Santa Maria. It is located at the pedestrian road leading to the famous Pontao (pier) on Santa Maria beach. The Pontao is where the fishermen gather after bringing their boats in, and sell their catch of the day. The perfect place to mingle with the tourists and the locals, watch the local children jump from the pier, fishing with strings. Water activities also begin in the Pontao. In the evening, the pedestrian street is ideal to watch the world go by, see the traders selling and bartering their goods. The concept of Aquamarina Suites is that of a boutique apartotel equiped with luxury teak furniture, carefully selected.
