The floors can only be reached by elevator, the fire stairs are only accessible in case of an emergency and not for regular use. Within 100 metres by walking you reach the shopping center and the cinema of Zaandam.  In the summer season the recreational park Het Twiske is a really nice spot to go for some picknick and relaxing.
