This Parador is located in an 18th century castle on top of the Santa Catalina hill in Jaén. It keeps its original architectural structure, with massive stone walls, high arched ceilings, wooden beams and tiled floors. Its interior is decorated with classic-style furniture with Arabic influences. The hotel has a seasonal outdoor swimming pool. The rooms are decorated in a classic style, with wooden furnishings and velvet-lined chairs, with fabrics in noble colours. They are fully equipped and some of them have beds with canopies. The establishment has an Arabic-style dining room where delicious traditional dishes are served, such as soups and salads typical of the region with delicacies from the Jaén garden. Some of its dishes are ajoblanco (garlic soup), partridge terrine or Baños-style deer.
