The Pickalbatros Sands Hotel – Port Ghalib, is located approx. 50 m from its own sandy / rocky beach, linked by a shuttle service (where applicable, a fee). At the beach are sun loungers and sun umbrellas free of charge. The tourist centre is about 3 km away. The town Marsa Alam is around 5 km away. The nearest shopping facilities are located approx. 3 km from the hotel, and also a supermarket is in the vicinity of the hotel.

The 3-storey beach hotel consists of a main building and 2 adjoining buildings, and has 347 rooms in total. It is equipped with a 24h reception (check-in from 14:00, check-out until 12:00), a lobby with bar, 2 lifts, an air conditioning, a safe (for free), a mini market, various other shops, a parking area (for free), a security entry system as well as a money changing facility. For the meals, there are 5 restaurants (air-conditioned) and a snack bar (open from 12:00 – 17:00). In a total 5 bars, you can relax in good company. WiFi is available for free.
