Nested on a soft sandy beach bordering the vast Atlantic ocean, the Porto Santo Hotel and Spa combines comfort and elegance into a haven of luxury. It was the first hotel to be built on the island of Madeira in the 1960s, and has grown to become the island’s most prominent and exclusive holiday resort. Renovated by award-winning architects Eduardo Anahory and Pedro Brammcamp, the architecture and design are truly unique. A new building has been added by architect João Favilla, who has maintained the single lines and unfussy décor of the original, adding a spa and villas. Complete relaxation is the primary concern at this stylish yet unassuming hotel, nestling in the sand dunes just steps away from Porto Santo’s golden sandy beach. Lounge and enjoy the beautiful weather as you sip exotic cocktails, or indulge in a long-awaited spa experience.

Large windows provide plenty of natural lighting, and exclusive high quality beds promise excellent quality of sleep. Guests can expect to find private bathrooms, a private balcony offering an unparalleled view of the surrounding area, as well as modern amenities such as cable television, complementary Wi-Fi, and climate control. Five new luxury villas were recently added, and have the intimacy and charm of a private residence.
