Torel Palace Porto is an elegant new boutique five star-hotel in the heart of Porto with 24 rooms and Suites that opened in February 2020. This new project by Torel Boutiques is housed in one of the most stunning historic palaces in Porto, the Palacete Campos Navarro. The Palace, dating back to 1861, and typical of those of the bourgeoisie at the time, is one of the most impressive and distinguished examples of the romantic architecture period in Porto. A highlight is the exceptionally stunning skylight (“Claraboia”). Torel Palace Porto is a Writer´s Palace - its concept is to honor Portuguese writers and poets, among them Eça de Queiroz, Florbela Espanca and, of course, perhaps the best-known Portuguese writer, Fernando Pessoa.
